We carefully evaluate each potential investment based on a range of criteria, including market trends, product offerings, and management teams.

Focus

We are committed to building a strong and sustainable portfolio of investments that will provide returns over the long term.

Impact

We believe that investments can and should have a positive impact on communities and the environment. We strive to support companies that share this commitment.

Investments

Our Primary, Secondary, and Direct investments provide comprehensive opportunities.

Primary Commitments

Zion Ventures invests in seed- and early-stage venture capital funds less than $250M in size, supporting managers with unique networks and a history of picking multiple winners. We work closely with managers and frequently serve as members of their LP advisory committees, investing in both first-time funds and established firms.

Secondary Commitments

Zion Ventures offers secondary investments in leading, late-stage venture-backed companies to provide faster liquidity and mitigate downside risk for limited partners. We acquire limited partnership interests in venture capital funds, facilitate special situation investments, and directly purchase shares in mature and pre-IPO businesses through secondary transactions, with a longstanding history in the venture secondary market.

Direct Investments

Zion Ventures invests in mid-stage companies at inflection points, using their network and real-time information to catalyze or join rounds. They assist capital-constrained managers in capturing their legal pro-rata rights in oversubscribed rounds and aim to be a supportive partner to entrepreneurs and management teams without distracting from their primary objectives.

Investing in a greener, smarter, and brighter future.

Zion Ventures is committed to aligning its investment activities with the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs).
